Welcome to Pentastar's "JoeVerse" page. What's a "JoeVerse" you ask? Well, one of the defining qualities of the GI Joe line is the storylines that were created in both the comic books and in the cartoons. While the storylines in the comics and the cartoon were in many ways the same, they did have their differences. So when us grown up kids make stories with our GI Joes, some of us stay in continuity with the comic book while others of us are more in line with the cartoon. Then there some people who take major deviations from both storylines, such as Spin Doctor and his inspired Beginnings diostory, telling the GI Joe story from a completely rebooted perspective. So as each diostory author begins telling their story, they take control of the GI Joe storyline in their own unique way. Thus they define their GI Joe universe, or as we call it, their JoeVerse.
So what does my JoeVerse look like? The following pages should give you some idea of what is going on in the GI Joe world I am creating in the story Memoirs of a Cobra. Hopefully by sharing how my JoeVerse is arranged it will help make sense as you read it.
